Havecon continues to expand Proplant Propagation's greenhouse area

Recently, we started the fourth phase for Proplant Propagation in Jarvis, Ontario, Canada. This expansion marks another milestone in the relationship between Havecon and Proplant Propagation. In the year 2016, in collaboration with our strategic partner Voorwinden Group, we were given the opportunity to realize phase 2 of the growing facility of Proplant Propagation to propagate young vegetable plants. The expansion had a size of over 20.000m². After the successful construction in 2016, we were also chosen to build Phase 3 in 2021, this was a similar expansion in terms of size.

This year, we have once again been chosen to build the next phase for Proplant Propagation. This project is an expansion of over 23.000m². Recently we also started on the foundation and rainwater discharge works of the greenhouse. The realization of phase 4 is another milestone in our cooperation with Proplant Propagation, which we at Havecon are proud of.

Besides building the greenhouse, we will also take care of the screening installation for this project. For this we are working together with our Atrium Agri partner SCRE3NS. Using a double screen installation, SCRE3NS will create an ideal climate inside the greenhouse for an efficient growing environment for the young plants.

Next year, Phase 4 will be operational and the first plants will grow. This will give Proplant Propagation the opportunity to serve its customers even better. We, as Havecon, are proud to contribute to the growth of Proplant Propagation.
