CambridgeHOK
We have a great partnership
and the support we get is superb
CambridgeHOK is the UK's largest commercial glasshouse manufacturer with over 55 years in business, having over 40 employees it has a highly trained workforce of designers, engineers and site based colleagues. CambridgeHOK started working with Havecon from Havecon's beginnings in 2006 and the relationship between the companies, the directors and the staff is very strong.
Ross Hibbs, Director of CambridgeHOK said "We have a great partnership with Havecon and the support we get from Henk, Aad, Thierry and the rest of the team is superb. The resources available to Havecon and the straightforward approach to business that Henk and Aad have make it easy to work with them, but also, the partnership gives CsmbridgeHOK the confidence and resources to tackle large and small jobs alike. In addition, the Havecon roof system, we believe, gives CambridgeHOK an edge over our competitors as we have a quality product with a good story to tell".
The largest project undertaken by the CambridgeHOK/Havecon partnership to date was the Cornerways project for British Sugar at 8 hectare. The customer was delighted with the way the project was managed and built and also very proud of the finished project.
Havecon and CambridgeHOK continue to pursue business in the UK and abroad in an ever strengthening partnership.
Bestplant
Hans Zuidgeest, owner of the other Bestplantgreenhouse and father of Patrick Zuidgeest, owner of the new Bestplantgreenhouse, is very positive about the whole proces they went through with Havecon. “Despite the holidays, the whole proces went smoothly. Communication between the Havecon-people in charge and ourselves was good and everybody was dedicated and motivated.”

The complex greenhouse wasn’t an easy straightforward project. In the new greenhouse, where all different rooms were built in the greenhouse, about 280.000 plants are stored between 40 and 52 weeks. Four different kind of Spathiphyllums are being grown. Because of the high trellis, three screens above eachother can be used for light- and energycontrol.
Gebr. Voskamp
Gebr. Voskamp in De Lier: 32 ha. Tomatoes in Havecongreenhouses!
When Leen and Sjaak Voskamp started growing tomatoes in the sixties, they never could have imagined that nowadays, together with their sons, they would have a company of 32 ha.! In 2003 the first new greenhouse was built, 10 ha. right next to the 8 ha. they already had. In 2005 these 8 ha. were rebuilt and in 2008 and 2009 3,7 ha. and 2,4 ha. was built by Havecon. The enormous growth and the many times new and rebuilding are being finished by 8 ha. new greenhousearea. This project started last month and it’s the third project in a row we are working on for Gebr. Voskamp. We are proud that Gebr. Voskamp had such a good experience the other times, that we were asked to build their latest and last new greenhouse. One of the reasons that Gebr .Voskamp chose Havecon out of all the other companies: the clean way of building and the short period of time we need to build a greenhouse. Above of that, during the project the communicationlines are shor and if needed issues are being solved in no time.
